Chris attempted his biggest crash of his career on October 13th at the Lowes Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina during the pre-race show. Chris jumped a sedan automobile 150 feet thru the air  while towing a trailer. Numerous explosions was scene during this jump which was set-up by the one and only Brian Carson.

CHRIS made the jump and it was shown on the Speed Channel that night. Chris jumped 160 plus feet driving a 1979 Buick painted Orange, while towing a 2 axel camper trailer. As his car end- doed the trailer broke loose and disintergraded on impact with the ground. Chris landed in the landing area of red painted autos. During his flite their were numerous explosions. Congradulations goes out to Chris for a job well done.

   CHRIS "GUIDO" MORENA

Chris Morena is an all around stunt performer who worked for 10 years on the Charlie Belknap's Hollywood Stunt Show. In those 10 years with Charlie, Chris has performed precission driving with brand new Ford Mustangs and Toyota Cameras, automobile crash roll-overs and the divebomber auto crash. All the crashs were without the use of a roll-bar or 4 point safety harness. Chris also performed the slide for life and drove the human battering ram along with setting up and igniting all the pyro on the show which traveled the county fairs and speedways in the eastern portion of the US and a few shows in Ontario, Canada.

Chris who hails from New City, NY and presently resides in a small town outside of Orlando, FL. Chris has been involved for the past 18 months with the Disney/MGM  presentation of  "Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Show". If your traveling in the area check out this show.

CARMAGEDON 2008

THOMPSON, CT

A standing room only crowd at Thompson International Speedway's Family Fun Night on May 25, 2008. The high price of gas had no ehffect on this crowd.

Chris takes his Jeep for a spin around the Thompson half mile track driving only on two wheels.

Prior to his big100 plus foot jump. Chris is getting to the car that he will be jumping while towing this camper.

Chris with the hammer down, he flies off the ramp for the smooth flite to his row of landing crash cars which is over 100 feet from where he took off from.

As Chris hits a giant explosion went off. If you look closely the top right side of the explosion you can see the trailer coming out of the fireball already in pieces.

After the flames and smoke dispersted you could see the carneige. Chris emerges from his car that is upside down in the middle of the picture.

The next performance for Carmagedon was Saturday June 7th at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburg, New York.

The two pictures above are pictures from the Plattsburg Show on June 7th. The Dodge Dakota was driven by Chris who over shot all his catch cars landing some 191 feet thru the air landing on the ground. Chris walked away.

The Rocket is a native of the far reaches of Long Island
outside of New York City. Lou is one of the nations top
motorcycle jumpers and has mastered the art of ramp to
ramp jumping after he was DQed at a motorcycle jumping
contest in Skowhegan Maine in 1999. The reason on the
DQ was . Lou took a too many speed runs on his second
jump after coming a short on his first attempt. He has come
a long ways since this show. Lou is now the only jumper in
the world to be trusted by Doug Danger to perform the double
ramp to ramp jump.  Lou's specialty is jumping a cycle over a
pit of fire and crashing his steed thru solid burning wooden
barriers at breakneck speeds. In 2006, The Rocket would like
to try and break the Worlds Record of Crashing Thru 25
Wooden Barriers in a row that is less than 6 feet apart.

TONNY PETERSEN

Borned in Copenhagen, Denmark veteran stunt performer Tonny Petersen with more than 40 years of experiance now resides in the Tar Heal state of NC. One of America's top hi-ski balance driver, Tonny started his thrill show career at the New York's World Fair with the Jack Kochman Hell Drivers  and has traveled thru out the world on various stunt shows. For more than 10 years he  performed on the Charlie Belknap's Hollywood Stunt Show until the show folded. The following year Tonny traveled with the legendary Paul Riddell and the Imperial Stunt Drivers. At present Tonny is the fastest man driving on 2 wheels in the US. Tonny has driven more makes of vehicles than any other American Stunt Performer on 2 wheels. Some of the makes that he has skiied range from Ford, Dodge,and Toyota cars and pick-ups. Tonny has done it all from 70mph precission bumper to bumper driving to reverse spins to riding on top of the speeding autos in Roman Riding to performing the slide for life. Tonny was one of the best slide men on any thrill shows that played the US. You can see Tonny this coming year on the Imperial Stunt Drivers touring the US and Canada.

Paul Riddell

Big Fat Paul from Montreal as he has been effectionaly known for more than 5 decades is a veteran of thrill shows of more than 50 years and is the a member of the family runned touring show The Imperial Stunt Drivers. The only touring thrill show with brand new autos and is not nationally sponsored for these cars. Paul has owned a thrill shows every year since the early 60's. Paul is one of North America's precission drivers at bumper to bumper breakneck driving at speeds exceding 70mph on dirt tracks in stock automobiles. He is the best 2 wheel driving performers (hi-skiis) from Canada skiiing a Ford pick-up over 1/2 mile at times on the dirt harness racing tracks at local fairs and epositions.

In his career he has taught his children the stunt show business, including his youngest Ashley and Derrick who now are performing death defying feats in the summer. You can see Paul perform with his traveling stunt troupe in 2006, as the Imperial Stunt Drivers comes to a county fair near you.

 MARK FISH  (Thrill Show Announcer)

A veteran thrill show announcer who started his career of announcing thrill shows on the Joie Chitwood Thrill Show and now handles the duties with the Doug Danger Motorcyle Jump and the Legends Stunt Show. in between performances he has worked for the Stoney Robert's Demolition Derby at county and state fairs in the eastern US and also worked at the Waterford Speedbowl as PR director and track announcer for the local racing Mark is married and lives in Hartford, Conn.

 DOUG DANGER

Doug Danger the a former Guiness World Record holder for the longest motorcycle ramp to ramp jumping is the owner and producer of the Legends Stunt Show. Not only is Doug a cycle long distance jumper but he has performed many different stunts over the years. Some of these acts include new car precission driving,roman riding, jumping off a moving ramp, motorcycle tunnel of fires, flaming boardwall crashes with many different size jumps from leap 7 people to jumping over a jumbo jet liner. Doug still holds an unofficial worlds record of clearing 42 cars placed side by side at the New Hampshire international Speedway. So far no one has placed that many cars under their jump. Doug performs one of the best wheelie shows in the country no matter what type of track he is playing on either dirt or asphalt. He has many different variation of high speed wheelies, from sitting to standing on the seat with one foot.  You may see Doug jump a 4 wheel quad off the big ramp or Doug firing up his jet powered quad at a venue near you this year.

   Roy Coffman (announcer)

HAVE MIC, WILL TRAVEL

Roy Coffman a veteran motorsports announcer who has done it all in his career. Roy travels the country with his portable microphone announcing all types of events. He is the voice of many demo-derbies, monster truck shows, all type of extreme motorcycle racing and traveling thrill shows plus voice overs for numerous TV and radio ads.

Roy has announced thrill shows for Tricky Travelstead's Extreme Stunt Show and Crash moreau the Thrillmaster over the years.

   TRICKY TRAVELSTEAD

  Tricky a veteran stunt performer that has traveled the US and Canada for more than 30 years performing his daring and thrilling feat of a roller-skate jump over cars. (This is not a roller-blade jump.) Tricky has cleared the hoods of 5 cars in his career. Tricky is the only man or women that has ever done this roller-skate jump succesful for that many years.

On July 2nd 2005, Tricky had the worse crash of his career while jumping 3 burning cars at Lake Erie Speedway. On landing he crashed and broke his wrist and back. After a couple of operations he recuperated for 3 months and was crashing cars in October at a speedway in Rome, GA.

Another first for, Tricky was to perform a Steel Wall Crash with a School Bus. Tricky took a stock junk school bus and drove it into another school bus that was standing on the rear end. This makes the bus look like a rocket ready to take off, than on impact flipping the standing bus. Watch for Tricky on his 2006 Tour.

 TIM CHITWOOD

Few drivers in the history of the automobile thrill show has brought as much excitement and professionalism to this deadly trade as Tim Chitwood. Tim learned the secrets to the thrill show business from his world famous father Joie Chitwood, Sr. Tim has performed for more than 40 years in front of live audiences and before the cameras of Hollywood. Tim has done it all from precission driving to driving a full size car balanced on 2 wheels, to fling automobiles out of a cannon in a ramp to ramp style jump to crashing cars and piloting the world's fastest stock pick-up that has a jet engine for power. The Chitwood Thunder has been seen melting autos with it's afterburner at many performances thru out the US.

   RON "KOKO"  HANLY 

 (Thrill Show Clown) 

Ron Hanly just celebrated his 50th birthday and has been with the Imperial Stunt Drivers for 18 years. He started out as the shows announcer for a number of years and later became the shows clown, using the name of KOKO or HAPPY the clown.  

Before becoming a performer on the Imperial Stunt Drivers, Ron was a former pro wrestler for 12 years, than he returned to college to become a radio personality. Ron worked on a number of Canadain radio stations in his career before an accident injuring his leg and back caused him to retire from the radio career. Ron than joined the Imperial Stunt Drivers.

Ron is happly married to his second wife Debbie and has 3 sons and 1 daughter. Ron also has 4 fantastic grandchildren. He resides in Ontario, Canada and will be out with the Imperial Stunt Drivers at selected shows this season.
